Hi
I ordered a few bit on a computer merchandising site and the items were in the celebration of a chip manufactures age and the items were showing up as free so I order a couple and payed for the shipping and have the invoice and dispatch confirmation and have been delivered and now have emailed me about the pricing error and want my to pay full price
Just tryed to look at the T&Cs and just gives me a 404 error (intelemeastore.com/help_desk/termandcondition.asp)
Thanks for the Help

You don't need terms and conditions for something such as this.
If an error has been made in a contract and one party to that contract is or should have been aware of the error then the contract can be cancelled.
This is known as a unilateral error.
I'm sure that you were fully aware that the company weren't going to knowingly give you the goods for free so now you either have to pay or return them.0 -
When you say a couple, are you saying two or did you order more...0

Where do you return them to, no address, no phone etc on site( that I could find.)I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

OP doesn't have to return them ... the seller wishes to cancel the contract (which they are allowed to do, for the reasons given above) therefore the seller is liable for all reasonable costs in doing so. All the OP needs to do is make the goods available for collection at a time suitable for the OP.0 -

Lots of big computing company do promotions like this from time to time so I ordered two of the 4 that were free for me and my grandmother as there was no limit,
Surely if it has been delivered the contract was completed?
the email was sent after the items were delivered0 -

A unilateral mistake renders the contract void ab initio - meaning the contract was never valid at any point. So it doesn't matter if it was completed or not.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Surely this alone would have alerted you to fact that something wasn't right.jamjam1993123 wrote: »Lots of big computing company do promotions like this from time to time so I ordered two of the 4 that were free for me and my grandmother as there was no limit,
If there was no limit then what would stop someone ordering 10/100/1000 of the items?0
