Ticks (and of course fleas)

I use stronghold and then miblemax every 3 months. It seems to work.

We took our spaniel to the West Country in June, where the ticks have always been horrendous; however, I smothered him in Advantix before we went and was amazed to find absolutely no ticks on him during our holiday or after it.

I'm not keen on covering the dog in chemicals, so I only use it just before we go away, but it certainly was effective this time.

Can you only buy that from the vet?

I know you can buy Advantage online without a prescription.

I'm not sure if you can get Advantix online; I did get mine from the vet.:)
