It was posted on MSE few weeks back but they have only emailed existing customers today - everyone else is raising prices so guess they have to follow. And its 6.5% annually rather than 6.50 a month guess I should have fixed but hey ho

So you agree to a variable tariff?
A tariff that can go up or down at any time.

Then when you are advised the price is going up, you think that is a sheer coincidence, or the supplier being very clever? :huh:

There's a reason why fixed tariffs are usually more expensive than variable ones!!

I'm so pleased I got in on the Whack! January fixed 18 month deal just before the Big-6 started their price hikes. Well worth paying a penny or so per kWh extra for leccy to know what I'll be paying until near the end of 2019. I guess the variable price is now about the same as the fixed.
