granite sink tapholes

Has any one any advice or knowhow on whether it is feasible to drill out tap holes in composite granite kitchen sinks?

I know that pre moulded holes can be drilled or knocked out, I'm talking about placing a tap hole positioned where no knock out is available.

Reason is, I want to insert a side spray near the standard tap. There is space around the sink edge for the spray to go but no 'knock out there. Also the spray diameter is 30mm not the standard 35mm.

Cheers.

You can drill a composite sink. it's quite straightforward. However, check underneath that you are not going to foul on a fixing point, work top edge etc. You will need a high quality hole cutter and a low speed.
