Peugeot 207

A week ago, I bought an 11 year old Peugeot 207 (07 plate) and used the radio for the first time last Thursday. However since then, a strap line runs across the display screen reading "It is Thursday evening"! I have consulted the manual and pressed buttons but am unable to get rid of it - any ideas please?

Do the French have a no radio policy on Thursdays? The French software engineer must have been a comedian in his previous life...

Is this on the radio itself and not the dashboard display?

Ive had a similar problem from the dash display which when i popped out and back in the fuses seem to put it right but nothing on the radio. (i know proper technical)
  • Ha ha! Many thanks for your replies - some taken with 'un petit piece de sal'!
Yes, I have tried resetting the time and date but I have been told that it must have been something I pressed when tuning into that station for the first time and committed to memory.
I have resigned myself to now listening to a different radio station - and only tuning into the 'problem' one on a Thursday evening, lol!
Once again, thanks all for your time and suggestions. Cheers!
