I have planted tomatoes in the greenhouse border for two of the last three years and won't take any risks next year. When you are told to change the soil (it sounds so easy) just how deep will I have to dig down please? Is there a best time to do this?

You don't need to remove unless you have some serious problem just replenish with muck and compost. Tomatoes are quite happy grown in the same spot.0

That's a relief as I had envisaged having to bag it up and swap it with some from my allotment, which is very likely to carry blight by all accounts. I can certainly improve the soil without too much effort.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
