That's £40K plus anymore you have put down with deposits.

If you had saved and invested that monthly amount you would have well over £50K now.

    Food for thought.

Yes, but this is an Audi driver. Why would an Audi driver have "saved and invested that monthly amount"? If he had, he wouldn't be the type to drive an Audi!

On the Audi calculator, over 36m.30k miles, the GFV of the petrol is £1k higher than the diesel.

Oh. Thats interesting. Didnt used to be like that. :)

I take it your neighbour drives a new Audi and its irking you as you seem to have a real thing against them?

Likewise, the O/P has told us his income ;)

Maybe you should spend less time obsessing about what others drive and projecting your issues on to them?

Yea but to be fair, if the discount level is higher on the diesel, then it doesn't make up for it in terms of depreciation. Using Coast2Coast I got similar levels of discount on the petrol and diesel, but it seems the OP is getting better discount on the diesel.

I think diesels are getting hit hard, but the GFV for all Audi models has been decreasing every time the finance parameters get revised each quarter. Probably a symptom of a decline of new car sales as a whole. That and increasing discount incentives on new cars driving used car prices down too....?

Not sure if this is the same across all manufacturers.
