Yes, however they can request you return it to the state it was in when you leave if it says so in the agreement (as in having a prepayment meter).


Not chaging the supplier would however be an unfair term.

Although its not illegal to resell I understand the LL is not able to profit from the deal and charge more than the utility supplier.

I am soon to look into this as my student offspring potentially falls into this for the next academic year following their student property choice.
