I am sure that almost everyone in here realises that the OP did click Buy it now and now has buyer's remorse.
All the smokescreen about unsolicited goods is just smoke. He won't be back, but should perhaps continue via PM with rhinestonemaiden who will tell him what he wants to hear, albeit arrant nonsense.0 -
Oh dear not rhinestonemaiden again,
I'm sure that once rhinestonemaiden finally realises that it is in fact them and not everyone else who is incorrect, they won't have any hesitation is coming back to apologise for posting incorrect information and for referring to other posters as "naysayers" and accusing people who actually understand the law of having "hidden agendas"0 -
I'm surprised we haven't had the usual line of 'you all must work for the retailer' :rotfl:0

I did wonder if that's what was meant by this:rhinestonemaiden wrote: »It makes me wonder if these naysayers have a hidden agenda trying perhaps to put people off bringing genuine complaints to the Ombudsmen or to court.0 -

Do you have a cat? More than once I've come back to my PC to find a cat has walked all over the keyboard and caused all sorts of weirdness on my desktop!rhinestonemaiden wrote: »Mije1983 you are wrong I am afraid. You need to read up on your law before posting. It is clear from the post that the goods are unsolicited.
OP please ignore rhinestonemaiden's "advice" as they could not be more wrong if they tried. The goods are categorically not unsolicited, legally still belong to the seller and you have a legal obligation to return the items if requested (although, of course, not at any cost or unreasonable inconvenience to yourself.)Every generation blames the one before...

Just to clarify ... the OP's only legal obligation is to make the goods available for collection by the retailer (or their agent). If the OP wishes to assist the retailer by returning the goods using the retailer's chosen returns method (and at the retailer's cost) then that's a separate matter - but they've no legal obligation to do so.0
