    Nextbase 512GW,
Good points: good resolution, wide angle, get at least a 32gb sd card, easy to fit
Bad points: leave it in parking mode consumes the battery and every time you get in the car the thing starts recording a "protected" file thus consuming disk space that wont be overwritten. You have to manually offload the files or formats the sd card monthly (advised)
  • I have two of these: https://goroav.com/collections/desktop-cam/products/roav-dash-cam-s1

Bought one, thoroughly impressed, bought the second.

For me, one of the best features is that they are near invisible from outside of the car, and don't distract inside the car, due to the shape, size and way they mount to the windscreen.

    Highly recommended.

If you want inconspicuous then the Mobius is tiny. Mechanics don't notice it's there, which would be useful if I didn't trust them to do their job properly.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
