Bt Sport question

Hi

My friend has a basic phone broadband package with BT. She would like to add BT Sport. She has a basic TV and a Humax freeview recorder only and no Sky. What does she need to be able to view BT Sport on her TV.

You'll need the following before you can install BT TV:

• A good quality outdoor TV aerial
• A strong digital TV signal
• A BT Home Hub and the right broadband speed for the TV service you choose. Use our broadband speed checker to see what line speeds you can get. If your line speed isn't fast enough, you may be able to boost it with our Broadband Accelerator
• A BT TV YouView set-top box.

Or more simply the BT Sport app on a smartphone and a Chromecast.

If you have BT broadband you can watch the sport online for an extra £7 per month (first 3 months free). Using a smartphone or tablet and a Google Chromecast, the sport can be viewed on your TV.
