Do the roads around you usually make a lot of noise?

    And something in Bristol.

But yes, they were quiet, weren't they? And the shops.

It was brilliant. I needed to go 30 miles to the nearest Argos that had a fan in stock. Was a lovely drive.

    And Waitrose was empty.

Delighted England won. When are they playing again? Looking forward to another shopping trip.

    Wednesday at 7pm.

Hopefully they will crush their enemies in this one, and then they play again on Sunday, winning that should gain us a minimum of 2 extra holidays for National Rejoicing. (I'll rejoice like a Good 'Un if we get the Monday & Tuesday off)

I'll be quite annoyed as I don't work Mondays and I'm already on holiday on the Tuesday .

They should make it an extra Bank Holiday if we win, a proper extra one that is in the "plus Bank Holidays" list, not simply shunt one of our existing holiday entitlement into the Bank Holidays.
Bring us a bit nearer to Europe, virtually every day there is a Bank Holiday.
