How long should I wait to apply for a credit card? We’ve just moved into a new house (bought a house and have a mortgage) we completed last Friday.

It very much depends. No reason you couldn't get one now if the rest of your history is strong enough and if you apply to the right lender.
Try now and see what result you get. If declined, give it three months.0 -
I'd consider waiting until you are on the electoral register at the new house, which will probably take a few weeks.0

Even though you have just completed on your house. If you are still at your old address you can apply now if necessary as you haven't moved yet?0

Have you checked your eligibility through a free credit report site like Noddle, ClearScore of MoneyClub? These checks will not leave marks on your record, and tell you % of eligibility and offers - all rounders, low interest, purchase card etc? that way you can see best APR, eligibility etc to best suit your needs0
