You can complain directly to the police force in question - the information will be on their website, or you can go via the IPCC.

More information on the different processes and timescales here.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

It's not clear whether you need to complain to the police about the actions of a thrid party, or if you complaint is abou the police themselves.

If it's the former then this describes the ways for non-emergency contact (101 can be tricky to get through to at busy times, although it's good if you do get answered - the email alternative is worth using if phoning doesn't get a response).

If it's the latter then the IPCC have information about complaining.

Yes it is a complaint about the police themselves handling a case and lying to me
and not investigating properly which they said they did.

the other one is complaint about the traffic accident unit in west midlands

I have looked at the IPCC (IOPC) complicated on how to complain about them (the police)

In the first instance write to the chief constable of the force you wish to complain about and ask them to investigate.

If you get no joy from that they should send you information on how to escalate your complaint.
