Consumer rights for digital content.

Options
Hello
I purchased some digital content from blinkbox some time ago. They moved my digital content onto talktalk and it was transferred okay. However, talktalk are now moving my digital content onto rakuten and they do not have most of my content on their site and are offering me store credit instead some of it way below the value of the content.

What are my consumer rights here? I would prefer to be able to have the content transferred but if not a choice of a refund to enable purchase of the content elsewhere or store credit to the equivalent value of the content plus inconvenience compensation but I am getting no indication of this from either of the companies... Rakuten won't discuss it and talktalk won't even reply!
Thanks

Partial refunds for digital content are allowed for in law if you have owned it for over 6 months.

If the content is missing and can't be repaired or replaced then that is the only option open to them. Whether it's cash or credit is your only real complaint here.

You are not entitled to compensation so if you are asking for that then they will most likely just ignore you.

Do you have any links that explain the law in these situations?

So I'm not really adequately protected then. If I had purchased the series on disc I wouldn't care if the company I purchased it from had changed hands as I would still have the disc...seems most unfair to me...up yours digital content ;o)

But there is nothing that would guarantee the physical copy wouldn't develop a fault though. If it did develop a fault, then again a partial refund would be an option for the retailer.
