How come my arthritis is sing the song of its people, normally it is worse when cold and damp.
I kind of wish I hadn't agreed to make a small blanket with an intarsia Elmer the Elephant by the end of next week, it is a bit warm for blanketing.
Thinking positively for your OH LWI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
LAMEWOLF I hope things weren't as bad as you feared with your DH. And please don't heap praise on me. I only do what anyone else would do to help their DH in our position. Although I am in reasonable health at the moment, considering what an old f*rt I am, I do worry about how we would cope if I too became ill and, more important, who would look after him. ( And you are certainly not the only one who always fears the worst case scenario - I am just the same. And too old to change now!) xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. Good evening chums and hugs to those going through tough times or grotty relatives You can pick your friends but relatives you are often stuck with.I feel so lucky with both friends and relatives, but because I am the sort who just can't say no I often run out of time to see or chat to them all.
The only thing I can say positively is that worrying about either doesn't help.
I am normally around at some point on here during the day or night, so if you feel like a rant then go for it
When I was having chemo 11 years ago the lovely late Money Saving Diva used to natter to me sometimes during the night when I would log on in the hope of finding someone to natter to.
The middle of the night seemed to be the worst time of all for feeling scared and alone, but bless her we would have a long chat about almost anything and she cheered me up no end.
I have never forgotten her kindness to what was a virtual stranger, we never ever met, but I am so glad that I 'knew' her if only to chat to.
Nelski, I read on the net that a gin company has gone broke ,nowhere near you I hope:):)
Hope you are enjoying your trip to Blackpool, the last time I was there we all had a ball (and a few libations as well:))
Right, phone has just dinged, and I think its my DGS in NYC who will want to natter about the football Why he thinks I know much about it I can't imagine:):)
Chin up chums its going to be another warm day tomorrow
