M/Soft flight simx ??

This question is for any one with the MS flight sim X
My system XP pro M/B Asus Conroe 865 PE 2gb ram proces intel celeron D 3.2 graphics nvidia GeForce FX 5200 128mb
My problem is only when using the 747 jet all the others are ok
On the runway when I switch the landing lights on the fuselage,tail and the bits that stick up on the end of the wings all turn white but the escape doors are still visible, turn the lights off the colours come back.
Second problem is when I put full flaps on they are not connected to the aircraft but float in mid-air away from the wings same when in flight.
I have tried running minimum settings but problems remain.
Starting to think this may be a program fault am waiting for a reply from M/Soft but until then anybody any ideas please.

It's a good job that Boeing make 747s and not M$!,

Being serious for a moment, it does sound like a bug, and it may be worth seeing if there is a patch available

fyi, the bits that stick up on the end of the wings are called winglets (or a variety of winglet called a wingtip fence, though these are usually only used on Airbuses)

I don't know, FX5200 sounds like an awfully weak graphics card to be playing it on. It's an old generation chipset (only just technically directx 9) and low end of that chipset.

Have you installed all the patches? Tried posting in a dedicated FS forum?

Like superscaper, I'm surprised it's actually running on your PC - even on the lowest settings. IMO the official system requirements seems ludicrous to say the least - they all do it, but this definitely takes the biscuit! G
