Drags booked next Monday not a repair though maybe advise if its electric or head unit fault.
Tempted to purchase one of the head units via e-bay to take with me as a replacement unit maybe110-149 as there's a few currently advertised.

Called l,coal audio garage today.
Advised against purchasing 2nd hand stereo from e-bay until dials on Monday.
Need to remind myself to ask I the they can perform a miracle and install Apple Car Play.

Diags complete today.
Only audio error was a stalk lead adaptor type error.
Next step find a suitable head unit via e-bay -currently viewing@£105
It will be +100 it install and£48 today for diags@£36+£12 and disconnect/reconnect battery.
I could use iphone placed below stereo though I can listen to pre selected music or podcast, it's not a long term satnav solution when I take my eyes of road for .5 secs'
Interesting that a brand new stereo cannot be installed in my 2014 Medianavtech tech as current unit almost integrated with some other electric type controls.

Called the other almost local audio company whom. I called a few days earlier.
Possible facia-they are requesting measurements to establish which radio could be installed.
If it's suitable-then it will be purchased from ebay and delivered from EU.
I'm expecting a call Tues next week when I could order and possibly discuss suitable stereos.
Almost a miracle compared to last weekend.
IPhone 8 served well with google maps+bbc radio player-wasn't bad at all.
Tomorrow I'm honestly interested to know if I can get finance if required for another car if required

All medianavtech avenues exsasted- today i am advised a facia is available thought no wiring adaptor has been made by Renault.
Decide to te-bay routeand purchase used Renault unit.
