Current Promotion .. Is next month free ?

My current offer is as follows ..

No insertion fees on 100 good 'til cancelled Buy it now listings that allow offers per day

I was speaking to an Ebay customer services member a couple of days ago (actually initially on another matter) and asked about this. If something doesn't sell and gets listed again the following month will I have to pay insertion fees. Yes was the answer.

I don't like the 35p fee, but I suppose one free month and then an extra month at 35p is a bit better, equivalent to 17.5p per month.

I contacted Ebay again yesterday but was given a different answer. If I list and the items remains unsold for 5 years, would I be charged 35p every month ? No was the answer, only the FVF would be charged.

Does anybody know the 100% correct answer ... are the extra months automatically charged or are they free.

The auto relisting seems to attract a fee on occasions , however if you manually relist and are getting 100 free listings a day then there would be no fee as long as you kept within your limit.

The rules change all the time though and personally I think manually relisting is always the safer bet if using a private account, especially as the 100 free listings a day is not a guaranteed for ever promotion (although it feels like it!)
