I bought a pair of Fiskars telescopic hedge shears a few years back, the ones with the locking mechanism at the base of the handles. Unfortunately, not long after purchase these failed and could no longer lock the handles in place, however as they were a decent pair of shears I soldiered on and continued to try and use them as best I could, albeit constantly cursing them every time the handles shot out during use.

Roll on to this morning and I finally had enough and contacted Fiskars UK with the hope of them simply pointing me in the direction of a replacement part and/or some support regarding fixing them myself. I wasn't expecting anything but a quick email exchange and they've offered to send me out a new, updated pair of shears absolutely FOC. Just goes to show there are a few manufacturers out there who value customer satisfaction above anything else.

A massive thumbs up to Fiskars UK from me :T
