Life insurance, credit cards and financial association?

Hi everyone
I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.
I'd like to sort out term life insurance coverage for my partner, as we recently had a child together. Problem is, she is going through the bankruptcy process at the moment. Presently I have a good credit rating and there are no financial associations between me and her on our credit files, and I want to ensure things stay that way.
Can anyone confirm whether or not there will be a financial association created between us for the following products:
- term life insurance first death joint policy
- term life insurance single policy protecting her life, that I take out and pay for myself
- I ask for a second cardholder (her) on my existing credit card account
Many thanks in advance of any help anybody can offer

You don't have credit ratings or scores - just history.
A life insurance policy shouldn't form a financial connection on your credit files.
Requesting an additional cardholder (not joint) may though.0 -
Hi Gary
Thanks for your help. Can you (or anyone else) confirm that the life insurance policy definitely won't create a financial connection? I realise this should only happen with a credit agreement, and life insurance isn't credit - but I'd like to be sure.
thanks

The insurer can confirm this for you0
