Need some help with new rental

I've just signed a lease on a rental bungalow adjacent to the landlords house. There are 2 bungalows with side doors in the walkway between them and the LLs house, it leads to their garden also but they have blocked that off with plant pots and a shed. In the first instance I would knock on the landlord's door, invite him round for a cup of tea and talk to him about the fact that you need to be able to receive post - and see if you can agree a solution.

If that doesn't work, I think hazyjo's suggestion is excellent. A free standing letter box sounds like a very good idea.

I certainly don't blame you for not noticing this before you rented. I wouldn't think to look for the postbox when renting a property. Most people would just assume that a property is able to receive post!
