Stolen motorcycle

Maybe someone here has some experience in this subject.
My bike was stolen, insurance company payed the claim, clame closed, end of story. But they kept deducting the monthly payments from my account.
I thought it's not ok to pay the insurance on a bike I don't have anymore - common sense - so I cancelled the direct debit.
Now they keep calling me saying that I shouldn't have done that and they want the money for the rest of the year.
Any suggestions?

Your insurance is a yearly policy and needs to be paid in full. I suspect you are not paying the insurance company but a third party loan and they paid the insurers at the start of the policy, the insurer would have deducted the remaining premium from the payout if you were paying them. You do owe the outstanding amount and in all probability your credit file will be trashed if you don't sort this out sharpish.0
