Why not get your MP involved? They can rattle the DVLA cage much more effectively at this stage.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

just wait on the BPA response?
Yes but they are normally quick to reply.

You did use the email for the BPA AOS scheme, in post #5 of the NEWBIES thread, didn't you, not some random 'contact us' button?

Yes it was the AOS email address used to tell them that APCOA hadn't given a POPLA code.

OK - and the BPA responded, within days, to say they would investigate?

If they didn't, then re-send it.

They responded via email the next day, it said that it can take 14 days for the operator to investigate on their end and respond to the BPA, they have given the keeper a reference code. The email was sent from a member of the AOS investigations team.

    Quick update,

There has still been no reply to keeper from the BPA it has been 37 days and still nothing back from APCOA concerning a POPLA code. But, the keeper has now received a letter (yesterday) from Debt Recovery Plus stating that their client has asked them to collect payment, now at £150!! They received no 'final reminder' before this.
There will be NO contact with this company from the keeper, what steps would you recommend now?
The keeper emailed their MP last week to bring to their attention what has happened from APCOA and the BPA and they have asked for the MP to get involved.
The keeper will email the BPA again stating that the CoP has still not been followed as there is no POPLA code and the fact the BPA haven't followed anything up and they will ask for it to go higher up the change to be resolved.
Would trading standards be a place to go to now?

    TIA for any responses.

A further email of complaint to the BPA (send to Steve Clark and put a link to this thread for him to read. He is helpful and will get to the bottom of the case).

    Thank you for the response.
Please excuse me if this sounds silly and shows my ignorance.
But, what will putting a link to this thread in the email do? Also, would the keeper just copy the address from the address bar?

    Thank you

yes add a URL link to this thread from the address bar at the top

also add a copy of the latest paperwork, especially the DRPL letter too, by attaching it to your email complaint

if you want Steve to help you, then help him by giving him a brief update , timeline , attachment of current letters and this thread URL

you dont want people coming back asking for more and delaying it

so you want him to have all the info at his fingertips, which is what I would like if I was investigating it

    so dont ask, just DO
