Just bought a car which has a top of the fan missing for mthe driver's side as per picture.
I would like to buy a replacement online but I don;t know what to look for as I don;t know what this cap is called as English is not my first language.
Can some one please advice what it's called.
Many Thanks

i would say air vent surround, or faceplate/trim“People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

Try "air vent housing', or 'air vent surround' with your car make and model.
That looks like a Zafira? Try this:

For another similar suggestion, air vent fascia.
Over the years I've found most "faceplates" from a dash are referred to as fascias. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
TBH the car will probably work fine without it.0

How old is your vehicle?
Old enough for a few "retired" specimens to be in your nearest scrappys?
That would be my first port of call.0 -
Bezel is another term commonly used in the a auto industry for parts like that.0
