Which provider to write to???

Hi all,

I have two credit cards that I am attempting to reclaim charges for, one being Barclaycard and the other being a Sky Card. The Sky Card was issued by Sky TV, but the card provider is again Barclaycard. Therefore I have two questions:-

1) Do I write to Barclaycard for the charges pertaining to the Sky Card account as they are the credit provider rather than Sky Card themselves?

and if so,

2) Do I treat my Barclaycard and Sky Card as two seperate claims, even though they are form the the same provider?

I know these may seem like obvious questions to some, but I dont want to hold the process up by being pushed around by both companies disputing liability. Many thanks in advance for the help.

Tredders.

Treat the two cards a seperate companies and make two claims one for each card.
Think of it in reverse did you apply to Barclaycard for both cards? No.You would have made two applications one to Sky and one to Barclaycard.
    Good luck.

  • My question is similiar. I am trying to reclaim PPI on car finance. Should I write to the dealership who sold me the car or to the finance company who provided the finance.

    Cheers

    Welcome to MSE,
I would get a copy of Martin's draft letter from this site and send it to the finance company, keep a copy of the letter for your own records and make a note on the calander when the 40 days are up so yu can send a copy to the Obudsman/financial commisionar.
Read martin's articles and other posts to make sure you haven't missed anything .
    Good luck.
