Really not sure what to do now I have received the claim form and its legitimate. However I have only received 1other letter which was a prior to court action. I have challenged them and asked for evidence and I have received nothing and this was 12 Dec 2016 What do I do now?

More detail needed.
For a start, is this anything to do with parking?
Who is the Claimant?
What is the alleged transgression?
You now need to read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
Post #2 will tell you have respond to the claim.0 -
Thank you for your response I have read the newbies FAQ and I believe I do have to respond. It says I can respond online to money claim ( gov uk)
The claim form is N1SDT from St Katherine's House, Northampton.
The claimant is Civil Enforcement Ltd Liverpool
The claim is the driver in sept 2016 parked in a private car park and a ANPR camera says the driver was there 1.5 hours instead of the allowed 1 hour.
I am worried and don't know what to do to for the best. This is the first time they have contacted me since dec 2016 really appreciate this support and advice0 -
Start by editing your post to remove information about who parked, then get stuck into post 2 of the NEWBIES which has a step by step guide to court.

We've got hundreds of Civil Enforcement cases. If you follow the guidance here, it will drop away eventually.

CEL just bung claims in without any regard for the correct process. They seem to use a court claim as a method of intimidation rather than for a legitimate claim.
They will have ignored all the requirements of pre action protocols and simply entered a claim.
There are multiple examples of defences on here starting with links in the Newbies thread.
CEL will discontinue once the one in the office with a brain cell finally twigs you are actually defending it.0 -
Just look for any CEL defence threads - easy as pie to see off.
Also read the NEWBIES thread, 2nd post and do the AOS online. No link, 2 clicks away.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What is the Date of Issue printed on your Claim Form?0
-
Keith
Am I am to send you something to check for me please?0 -
You have wasted THREE WEEKS and we dont know what youve done
You only had FOURTEEN days to get your AoS in from the date of service of the claim form. This is clearly stated on the form. Once you did your AoS you then had 28 days from date of service fo rthe court to receive your defence.
If you did nothing, then youre possibly facing a default judgement
If you did the AoS, but didnt file a defence and your date of issues was around 21st June or earlier, youre possibly facing a default judgement
So, what have you done?0 -
Is this meant for me nosferatu1001?
I completed AOS as claim date 5th July so worked out I have until 30th July?
planning to email to ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk today is this correct?0
