Car repairs please help

Options
My cars mot has run out and due to the advisorys on the last mot I am sure it will not pass the mot. Is there anyone on here that can help me and tell me how much the repairs would cost me without getting ripped off.

- front exhaust flexi pipe weak
- macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment
- tyre worn nearside front
- offside front road wheel slightly damaged

Any genuine help much appreciated

A good start would be letting people know the car, age & mileage.

If you have been running it a year on the worn tyre get that changed and put it in for the MOT it might fail on other things and not advisories from last year

I think you’re after a cheap but competent repair. I let my independent MOT garage repair last minute MOT issues and luckily haven’t been ripped off so far. Once I took a car to a very inconvenient edge of town mechanic operatiing out of an industrial unit. Lots of chauffeurs/Uber drivers queuing there and a bit fraught collecting the car out of hours, but the repairs worked out well. Tyres of course I get sorted by a mobile fitter.
