If you 'win' a competition that you haven't actually entered, then it's a scam.

Note Bad spelling and grammar too

if in doubt alway Google the phone number quoted - "44 702 402 8761". this will always bring up details of the scam if found on various forums / sites. Also useful if you receive an unsolicitated phone call from an unknown source.

  • I've received quite a few of these and the ones where they ask you to use your bank account to store some money etc and I always think 'I wonder if its true' but as davetrousers said - if you haven't entered anything then its a scam!
It's true that you don't get nothing for nothing!

    Sal x
Ist Win: 1 week's bed, breakfast and evening meal in Hotel in Blackpool!! :j

  • That's SPAM sure enough. Basic rule: if it sounds too good to be true, especially if you never entered the comp, it's Scam City.

    Be careful out there! :-)
Wins: Underpants, Rizla vending machine, Grand Prix tix, T-Shirt & cap, Brands Hatch tix, tanning fluid, pen, food voucher, Manchester Town Hall tour, Flahavan's Oats, Rexel stapler, canvas photo, egg cup, calendar, The Fall tix. Thanks everyone

apart from all the above comments i would say look at the e-mail addresses.

Minworm@seznam.cz - cz is Czech republic I believe
claimsagentterrymartins1@yahoo.com.hk - from Wikipedia: .hk is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Hong Kong. It was created in 1990.
Until 2004 there were very few second-level domains under .hk, as it was normally only possible to register third-level domains. The following are the main second-level domains:
    .com.hk - commercial entity

So we got a czech e-mail address sending the mail asking you to email a hong kong email address all the while the company is based in London...

It is always worth researching on the Internet and as other posters said, it is unlikely that you won it without entering it.
