Capital One requesting photo ID for PPI claim

Hi guys ,

I have had three successful claims of PPI from Barclays,MNBA and Lombards (RBS) but im having issues with Capital one , the first letter they sent me was that they held no record of me and that they need a photocopy of my drivers licence to continue to look in to the compliant , so i sent it off , never had a reply for 2.5 months , so wrote to them again , a bit more strongly worded letter this..... and i got the same generic letter back again , so once again i sent them my proof and a letter of my disappointment in the way its being handled , Is this standard practice to ask for proof of ID as none of the others have?

Many Thanks
Steve
