Competition closes at midday on 04.09.2018 and 3 working days later for postal entries.
1) The prize comprises of a ten (10) night stay in Australia for two (2) people including;
a) Return Economy flights from a London airport to Ayers Rock Airport / Hamilton Island / London (please note that these flights will go via a major hub in Australia)
b) Return airport transfers to the Ayers Rock Resort
c) Three (3) night’s stay at Sails in the Desert Hotel sharing a Superior Room.
d) Daily buffet breakfast
e) Sounds of Silence dinner on one (1) evening including canapes and sparkling wine, 3 course bush tucker inspired buffet, didgeridoo performance, guided tour of the night sky, return transfers from the hotel.
f) Field of Light Art Installation Pass (General Admission)
g) Free use of Ayers Rock Resort shuttle bus service
h) Indigenous activities programme including Bush Food experience, Guided Garden Walk and Bush Weapon Talk
i) VIP Return transfers from Hamilton Island airport to hotel
j) Seven (7) night’s stay at Beach Club on Hamilton Island sharing a Beach Club Room
k) Daily a la carte breakfast
l) Best of Both Worlds Scenic Helicopter Experience for two (2) adults which includes a flight over Heart Reef, land at Reefworld for snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and then a picnic lunch on Whitehaven Beach.
m) Comprehensive travel insurance (excluding pre-existing medical conditions with an upper age limit of 79)
n) £1000 spending money (TOTAL)
2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
3) Both the Sounds and Silence and Field of Light are subject to weather conditions.
4) Cultural Disclaimer: the indigenous performers are traditional people with strong cultural obligations. In the event of some major unforeseen cultural event such as ceremonial duties or bereavement, we may not be able to provide the indigenous activities as advertised.
5) Beach Club, Hamilton Island is exclusively for guests aged 18 or over.
6) The prize must be taken by 30th September 2019 but cannot be taken between 15th December 2018 and 31st January 2019, 5th to 23rd April 2019 and Hamilton Island Race Week (exact dates to be confirmed but tentatively 17th to 25th August 2019). The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5.
7) Booking is subject to availability.
8) A cheque or bank transfer for the £1000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed
9) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.
10) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
11) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
12) Passports, Visas and City and ECO taxes are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner. Channel 5 or Cloud Nine cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.
13) The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).
14) For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to and from the home to the airport, gratuities, meals or other travel expenses unless otherwise stated, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated for winner and guest.
15) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
16) The accommodation and footage have kindly been provided by Hamilton Island and Voyages Ayers Rock Resort.
17) Bookings must be made through Cloud Nine Incentives Ltd (“Cloud Nine”), The Station, 7 High Street, Olney, Buckinghamshire, MK46 4EB
