Consumer rights for faulty product after 6 weeks

Hello all,
After a bit of advice.
I purchased a skylight for a garage conversion and it was delivered about 6 weeks back. My builder only got round to fitting it last week and we've discovered the following issues:
1) The upvc corner inside of the opening dome has a large crack.
2) In between the two outer dome window panes there is trapped dirt and quite a few scratches.
I've sent photo evidence of both of these to the company and they have refused to help telling me it's outside of the 30 days they allow for any replacement/refunds.
Arguably the first one they can blame on my builder but the second issue is clearly a fault when it was manufactured.
Is there anything I can do about this under the Consumer Rights Act?
Thanks

In which case any fault within the first 6 months from purchase is assumed to be inherent (present but not necessarily apparent) at the time of purchase. The seller must provide a remedy (repair, replace, full refund) or prove that the consumer (or their agent) caused the fault.0
