Trusted bank charge claim sites and possible PPI?

Options
Hi all first post here and hopefully I’m in the right place and asking the right questions. I have been recommended by a friend to pursue a claim into the bank charges I have been paying and not taking advantage of for several years (phone, breakdown insurance etc). So I was wondering if anyone had any companies they would recommend as their are numerous out there. There is a personal lack of confidence problem that stops me from pursuing this myself hence why I am looking for outside help. Thanks so much!

Another question I would like to ask is if I would be in the PPI generation? I had my first loan 7 years ago, and credit card 5 years ago, is this too late as companies had changed their contracts at this time?

No one on this forum (other than spammers) will recommend any Claim Management Company.

If you feel your packaged bank account was of no use to you, then simply tell the Bank so. Why would you need a firm to do that for you?

As for PPI, that insurance ceased being offered by Banks prior to your first loan anyhow, so why do you think you might have a complaint?

If you took out the products in the last few years it's highly unlikely they would even have offered PPI for loans or CC, you can check though by looking on your loan agreement or monthly CC bill

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

All banks ceased offering loan and credit card PPI, so its not "unlikely"-it's impossible!
