Bensons Bens consequential loss claim??

Options
Hi please bear with me whilst I explain my story and ask for help! Back in August 2017 we placed an order of over £4000 with Bensons for 3 full lots of bedroom furniture. It finally arrived Nov 2017 however we were missing handles for the drawers, we were a full drawer missing out of the bottom of the wardrobe, on two drawers the glass fronts were all cracked, the mirror on the wardrobe was badly cracked. Called Bensons, items were redelivered, the handles were however delivered to my old address as they had not checked their file correctly. I therefore had to go and collect these which was awkward. The other faulty items were reordered, i was told it was an 8 week wait again. 8 weeks passed and we received the missing drawer from the wardobe - I had taken a further days holiday from work to take their redelivery. The replacement wardrobe door came however they had ordered the incorrect one! They had also forgotten to reorder the replacement drawers. I then took a further days holiday to take in the next lot of replacement items. This time the wardrobe door was correct but one of the drawers was again broken. Another 8 weeks later i take another day off work to take the final replacement redelivery. Where do I stand with compensation?? We were without a drawer for 4 months, we did use cracked drawers but were without a wardrobe door for 4 months. It looked dreadful. I asked for 5% compensation and requested a consequential loss from them of £360 for the return of my holidays as i thought i had to be left in the same position as I would have been had they not had to replace? Am i being unreasonable?? They will not give me anything. Help!! From start to finish the saga has lasted 10 months

So you were without your drawers? Going "commando" is wonderfully liberating (I'm told) :D

You are not automatically entitled to compensation.

Even though it took 10 months to resolve and were left 'drawless'! and had various missing faulty items and they forgot to reorder items. Surely i am entitled to my loss of holidays which i would not have had to take off?

If the item is not what you ordered, then it is a failed delivery in effect.
