i'm really sorry that I haven't been on here for a few days, I am in the middle of a big flare up of my Fibromyalgia, the heat doesn't help infact I think it has increased the pain and yesterday was the first time in day that I actually made it out of bed since Wednesday.

So, yes that car has finally moved on quite mysteriously in the early hours of Thursday morning. Dad had made numerous phone calls to the police and the council - police still refusing to move it despite it having no Tax, council wanted to clamp it and in fact Dad had to almost physically stop them from doing so - they turned up and had taken the wheel clamp off there vehicle but thankfully saw sense after a lot of persuading that if it was clamped it would be there even longer. Ask the council to remove the vehicle, but as i said originally they don't have the facilities to do this and would not get a company to do it and charge the owner as the owner wasn't local - as if that mattered. They did however issue it with 2 seperate parking fines at 2 different times!

My parents managed to get off on their short break all be it a little later on Thursday than they had planned (as when they went to bed on Wednesday night it was still there). They were how ever unsure if it would still be there on there return today, but I have phone their neighbour and am pleased to say that it hasn't returned as yet.

Thanks for the update OP, sounds like someone using it for airport parking.

Hopefully the two fines will be more than the parking.
