    Perfect thanks.

Is UC being rolled out everywhere ? I'm currently on ESA and PIP, will this affect me ? :j
Yes, it is. You will eventually be transferred across, if you're claiming Income Related. Unless a change of circumstances prompts a move then the change won't happen until at least 2019, possibly later. PIP isn't part of UC.

UC is being rolled out everywhere eventually, but what that date will be is anybody's guess. Full roll out was originally supposed to be completed by the end of 2016 but it looks like being years away still.
I know UC covers people seeking work and those unable to work through illness so I'm guessing that she will need to provide a medical certificate 'fit note' from her GP if she is claiming because she is unable to work.

Fair enough, am i right in saying it can vary from 1 year to 5 years depending on the person ?

Will the change from ESA to UC warrant a reassessment ?

It can be anytime. If you want to know when a re-assessment is due then ring ESA and they will tell you.

Yes, eventually you will be, the same as ESA is now. That can be a long way off though as stated.
