Repair or replace?

Hi,

My Candy Grand Vita washing machine is giving me a E09 code, which according to google means it has a control board problem. It has been playing up for a few weeks, not spinning sometimes but now just stops after about 5 minutes and throws out the E09 code.
Question is, do I pay for a repair man to come and fix it, or would it be cheaper just to buy a new machine? :(

Try & google control board & your machine model no then you will know a rough price for the part, however you would be better getting a repair guy to give you a price in case it's not the board
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

Depends on the price of the PCB. You can get a new machine for under £200, but it'll be short-lived. Pay £400+ and you can get a decent brand.
With Candy/Hoover, I wouldn't bother repairing it, they're budget models.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
