If it is a hydraulic one it may be the clutch pedal just needs adjusting if there's not enough free play. Pressing down on the clutch pedal with your hand you should feel around 1/4 inch of free play before you feel any real resistance. When it gets hot the fluid expands and this lack of free play can cause the clutch to slip. Did it on my MX5 when I didn't adjust it properly.

its in the ford garage just now so I will just wait and see what crap they come out with .

but this is a very common problem with the 2017 car
  • Oh dear that's ridiculous but typical Ford response.

The link below is for the ecoboost issues but someone may have some advice for you and how to approach the garage to get some sort of service

No, not fatal. It is on PCP therefore you still have Section 75 protection but from the PCP finance company, not a credit card company.

You need to take it up with the PCP provider, they own the car and any claim is made jointly against them and the supplying dealer.

Have you tried a different dealer? A couple of years ago I had a different issue refused at one dealer, so took it to another in a different town who accepted the warranty, and fixed it.
