Iphone 7 Mic issues

Hi
Has anyone come across issues with their mic on the iPhone 7. The speaker button when making a call is greyed out and no one can hear me when I make a call.
Looking at some Cnet reports, they say it could be a problem when upgrading to Ios11.3 and above and wondered if others had an issue?
Also the audio on videos wont work and cant record any voice memos
