Is this iPhone message dodgy?

Afternoon all. I'm hoping someone can clarify something for me.
I have an iPhone and earlier I received this message -
"Reminder
iPhone Notification, Your iphone ID is due to expire today. Please Tap iforgotonline.co.uk to update your information and avoid loss of servi..."
The above is how it appears on my lock screen, I haven't read the actual message.
Does this sound dodgy to anyone else? I've never heard anything about "iphone ID" before, nor have I had to tap anything to avoid loss of service.
Is this genuine or a scam?
Thanks for any replies

Thanks both for your replies

It only gave me pause because I once put the wrong password into iTunes, and the link that came up to reset it had something about 'iforgot' in the address."One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate change policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world's wealth." - Ottmar Edenhofer, IPCC economist, interviewed at COP160 -
iPhone IDs (I presume they mean Apple ID) don't expire, and additionally the address to go to should apple.com, so yes, avoid at all costs.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0

This has also happened to me, and although I started to complete the form, I stopped as soon as it started to ask me for my card details. I had wondered about my iphoneID changing, but Apple know my card details. By then I had given my DOB and Apple password, so I went online to change it, and the password was already being used on another device, so I stopped that and changed the password. BEWARE!!!0

It's a phising and scam attempt.
Quite a good site for checking for scams.

I've just had a thought...
It's a bit late now cos I've deleted the message, but is there any way to block these people without reading the message?
Edit: I have an iPhone SE, iOS 11.4, if that helps."One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate change policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world's wealth." - Ottmar Edenhofer, IPCC economist, interviewed at COP160 -

Nope you can’t however iOS software is built in such a way that it’s really hard for anything malicious to get onto the phone to cause a problem by just opening a message. Now nothing is a 100% secure but nothing in life is but I really would not worry about it and carry on enjoying life.
Another way to put it into perspective the amount of spammy, scamming and malicious emails a person gets is a ton more compared to anything you get sent in a text message. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. All fine, no loss of service. What a shocker!
