Hello guys,
I am just wondering if any of you know what engine oil my car takes?
It is a Citroen c2, 05 registration with a 1.1Litre engine:
I have been looking online and I keep finding different types ?
Does anyone know for definite or is my car able to take multiple oils?
Thanks

Have you tried the handbook or service book?0

Try entering your registration into this https://www.opieoils.co.uk/
However, be warned, it shows the incorrect oil viscocity and grade for my vehicle.0 -
So don!!!8217;t listen to the above poster then.0

If you read your original post, you directed him to use a website which your own empirical test revealed to be completely wrong
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

synthetic 5w40 would be my best advice. http://cararac.com/engine_oil/citroen/c2.html
Some of my handbooks have listed multiple options depending on location of main use eg extreme cold countries etc so that could explain why you're getting different answers0
