BW Legal letter help

Just received a letter about a parking fine from September 2017. First I've heard of the fine. Never received any letters about it! I was the registered keeper. It was my ex gf's car. She now owns it.

BW's website is useless, I've read I shouldn't phone them. Should I pass on the driver's info? Email them? Write them? Ignore it?

Rick.

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum

Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with this

No-one here would advise revealing the driver to them.

That will have to be your decision

You must read the NEWBIES thread first

All depends what the letter says.

Assume your GF was driving, so if you don't like your
GF anymore you can name her

This is not a parking 'fine' at all.

Please read the NEWBIES thread second post about 'Letter before Claim' stage and how to reply, in readiness to defend the claim. Also send a SAR to the parking firm for all photos/data held about the VRN (enclose a copy of the V5 at the time as proof of who you are, if you have never contacted them before).

Also send an email to the DVLA asking when your data was divulged, what date.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
