Advice needed re current situation with c.s.a

  • Update 4 u :)

I know it has been along time since I posted on here, but have received good news today and wanted to share it ....

Over the past year, I have as promised been phoning up my contact at c.s.a to be told they are doing everything they can etc etc etc, last thing I had heard was that it was awaiting a report back from the officer who went out to see my ex...well following this up I out of the blue when phoning them was told it was now with 'legal enforcement team' and to call a different number (dread then came over me for the fear of having to go through everything again with them)
I phoned legal enforcement team on numerous occasions but they only worked 9-4pm & I didnt get home from work til 5.30pm, I kept missing them & was only able to speak to a general advisor to see if anything had happened on my case, which it hadnt (no surprise there) so 4 phone calls later & a helpline guy said he would make sure it got looked at by the team.

Success I got a phone call back from the actual officer who visited my ex, who then passed it on to some lady to work out a schedule of payments as they now had access to my ex's earnings over the past few years.
I received a huge amount of letters with different dates/amounts on them, and finally an actual schedule.
Still kept in contact with them and they agreed to go DEO this was Sept last year, however 1st direct debit bounced, so they put it through again only for it to bounce again (arghhh) they then decided to issue a clerical deo? this was confirmed by his employers head office as being received, and today I received a phone call to say that they have received an amount of £538.16 from his employers which will be sent of to my bank 2nite~i should receive it in 3-5 w.days :D:D:D

I know this is only 1 payment, and further payments are not guaranteed depending on if he decides to leave work etc....but for this 1 payment to be received is a huge milestone, there is hope...unfortunately it means alot of phone calls and expense but worth it so far :)

I'd like to thank Kelloggs for all the work she does on this forum, u r a lovely person and thank you so much for the advice you gave me.

I have promised my children some of the money, and the rest is going into a savings account, it is good to know that finally the c.s.a have done something :)
