LSG Lloyds phone insurance

I put a claim in which was accepted.

And the £100 excess taken very quickly.

They posted me a letter and form to tell me how to proceed (not very 2018)

Once returned it will take 3 days to attempt a repair or send a replacement.

Over the week my screen has dried out and I don't think I can be bothered to send it back.

Anyone know how easy it is to get my £100 back ?

I better press some buttons on the website later.

No point me returning it, as it will Just be returned as No Fault Found.
4 days in the post and me having to back up and restore it (plus loads of other requests)

I would have thought a phone call to the insurance team would be better and quicker.

I would check if this counts as a claim even though its been cancelled as you only get 2 claims a year now.
