Knowledge Vs Intelligence

Here is the difference between knowledge and intelligence. Here you see a group of scientists with a lot of knowledge (received a lot of information), gushing about how well their cheetah bot negotiates trip hazards. Whilst between them they probably have eight degrees (read a lot of books), they're not intelligent enough (not able to process the information they have accrued) to even notice that an animal would not slip that far without noticing that it was actually slipping, bearing in mind that this bot has probably been slipping in exactly the same way for six months before they put it on TV. it's clear to anyone with even a moderate intelligence within less than a minute that the bot simply does not know that it is actually slipping until it's actually fallen. I'm quite confident they will realise "eventually", but they are simply too stupid to notice in after months of study what an intelligent person would notice in less than a minute

knowledge and intelligence.
I often relate to currys / pcworld when answering that question
they have "knowhow" , that presumably means Knowledge
however after visiting the stores several times , my views are that they do not have intelligence0 -
You will be familiar with the progression:
Data -> Information -> Knowledge -> Wisdom
?0 -
or in the case of talk talk
Data -> Information -> hand over freely to scammers0 -
Point being that knowledge does not beget intelligence. The 4 "wise" (holders of information) scientists in the video are wise enough to create a robot but not intelligent enough to use allllllll the information that life has given them to see a problem that's staring then in the faceYou will be familiar with the progression:
Data -> Information -> Knowledge -> Wisdom

I think of it as information intelligence and common sense intelligence.0

Reading most of the OP's past posts I see neither knowledge or intelligence.0

Information is knowledge (what we Know)
Intelligence is how we process it
A knife is sharp (knowledge) so don't put it in soapy water where people can't see it (intelligence)/common sensepennypincher2013 wrote: »I think of it as information intelligence and common sense intelligence.If I ruled the world.......0 -

Having given the OP the benefit of the doubt that Philosophy could conceivable be included in "Techie Stuff", I see from the progression of posts that I was clearly wrong.
Perhaps a different set of forums would have been a better choice for the OP?0 -
I may not possess the knowledge or intelligence that these scientists probably have, but I definitely do not comprehend the point that ChrisK... is attempting to make.
It is very easy to denigrate the efforts of others, and you obviously have some intelligence, coupled with a good vocabulary. But are you able to state what makes you more intelligent than them?I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
