Recover shed roof but no access to one side

Options
Hi

I have a shed that is in urgent need of re-roofing. The OSB roof has a plastic corrugated sheet on top. The rain has got in and the OSB is failing.

The plan is (was) to cover the lot with a butyl pond liner but there is a problem.

I have no access to one side of the shed. My next door neighbour has built his shed very close to mine. You can see how close in the photos (see links below). You'll have to copy and paste the links into your browser address bar - the site won't let me upload direct links.

I have no idea how to fasten the liner to the side of the shed that has no access. There isn't even room to swing a hammer!

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Even before your neighbour built their shed, how did you plan on doing work to the roof without going onto your neighbour's land?

It would appear you have put your shed up without a sufficient border to access it. (Mine has about 1 metre gap between us and the neighbour...)

Can you not glue the liner down then put a batton across it?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Easy - release the roof from inside and slide same forward giving you enough room the fix the felt to the back(adhesive and nails) then slide the roof back into position and finish off the front. Reattach the roof from inside.

Like the idea of sliding the roof back from the inside. Don't know why I didn't think of it! Cheers.
