London park/ride for 70 year old.

Hi

I am travelling to London with my Dad for the RAF100.

We will be coming in on the M3 and need to get to Buckingham Palace (Central Line?).

My Dad is in his 70s so mobility is as much a concern as price.

Ideally, I would like to get fairly close to central London, but without paying any congestion charges.

We'd like to park fairly cheaply, and I would like to book if possible.

From there we need to get onto the underground fairly easily, so we can make our way to Victoria (?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Weekdays parking is expensive , look at parking apps like just park for reserveable parking , then weigh up price + congestion charge for accessibility Vs parking outside of the zone

Apologies if I have got the wrong end of the stick with your route, but if you're parking up and then getting on the Central Line, I would change onto the Jubilee Line at Bond St and get off at Green Park....it's then a downhill walk to the palace which may be easier for someone a bit older?

You could consider Osterley Underground station car park on the A4 and quite approachable from the M3 (just over £6 per day) and take the Piccadilly Line to Green Park.
