Need account with debit card

Hello,
I need a savings account that will provide me with a debit card. I'd like to open the account with perhaps only £1 put will very soon put several thousand pounds in there.
I will make very few withdrawals a year (possibly none until late 2009) but need to do it with a debit card.
Basically I want to squirrel some money away to pay for some very nice treats for my wifes 40th birthday in 2010.
Obviously I don't want to transfer funds into our current account to spend them because that would give the game away.
Any ideas?

You can only have a debit card with a current account. There is no reason why you cant have more than 1 current account - certainly with different savings providers anyway.0
