Re ICIC Hi Save bank account

I might be being a bit thick here but whilst applying on line for a savings account with ICIC Hi Save, I was a bit put off by the fact that there was no mention of or signs to show the security of the site when entering personal or bank details. I emailed them about this and they replied to me explaining the security of the bank account once in progress but not for the initial stages of applying for one.
Has anyone any advice?

Sounds fair enough. Obviously, having the whole site on https/SSL would be good from a security point of view, but this could have usability issues. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

I can't see your problem. It's no different to many other banking sites. It's a secure site (https) as much as any site can be.0

I just had a look and the application form is secure from the first page onwards. None of the details you enter on the application form are sent over an unencrypted connection. Perhaps your browser isn't correctly reporting the page properties?0
