Hi,
I have been sent a 'Change Bank, Prepaid, MasterCard, Debit Card' in the post, yet I have not requested or applied for one. The accompanying letter provides several telephone numbers, yet I am unable to speak to a person as all are automated.
I wondered if this was an elaborate 'Spear Phishing' Scam, or if it a new way of attracting business?
Thanks in advance.

That's a lot of cards they've sent you. Are you sure?
Who is it from and what exactly have they sent you?
It's not phishing.0 -

The latest offering from Raphaels Bank?
PAYG bank account, similar to several others on the market. With a fee of £1 a week.
They offer a rewards programme. I can already make similar savings through another scheme I have access to.
I've no idea why they would send you a card if you didn't request one. My best guess is that someone completed an application using your details, rather than Raphaels Bank sending out cards willy-nilly, which costs them money and will likely get them in to trouble with at least one of the sector's regulators.
It appears they also offer cards via some credit unions.0
